While we are famous meat and fish lovers, we do have a decent choice of vegetarian cafe in Minsk and even some vegan restaurants to choose from.

Right in the centre of Minsk you can enjoy diverse vegetarian and vegan dishes. When the weather is good you can sit outside in the large courtyard. The place is perfect for any occasion: eating alone, romantic diner  family with kids or with a larger company.

A very first vegan fast-food restaurant in Minsk! We recommend you to try their falafel or one of the lunch boxes cooked from seasonal products with a nice fresh ‘shipka’ drink made of pomegranate juice. The place is quite hidden (well, it is far from the metro), so take a map with you to find it! You can eat in or order delivery.

The vegetarian Indian bistro is located in the basement just across Komarovsky market. Follow the big sign with an elephant on the building. The interiour is very simple, but has a big choice of authentic Indian dishes and the prices will surprise you (positively). Often their Indian chef walks through the bistro to greet their guests. For 3,5€ you can order Thali (a large tray with a bunch of different bowls with bean soup, hot stew, rice, sharp eggplant, flat cakes, sweet and kefir drink) and you will walk out of the bistro with a full stomach.

If you are looking for a bit of more luxury atmosphere and ready to pay around 45€ for a two person dinner, then Taj is the place to be. This vegetarian restaurant offers a variety of Indian cuisine, including vegetarian dishes. One of the features of the restaurant is cooked in a traditional clay oven – tandoor. The oven preserves the unique aroma and taste of the products. This place suits well for a romantic date or some celebrations.
